I hope your visit to my website will provide
you with the photographs or information about photography
or
photoshop that you are seeking.
Enjoy the image galleries - all the images are available as both fine art
enlargements at various sizes and as stock commercial images.
Links to upcoming safaris and seminars are shown at the top right
of this main website page.
If you would like to see my most recent work, click on the links to
my images on Naturescapes or on Yellowstone.net, or the safari
reports on my blog.
Or you can friend me on Facebook where I put many galleries of
images while on a safari.
You are invited to join me on
a photo safari or at a photo or photoshop seminar. If that
isn't possible then I hope to see you in the field in our American West - a land of beautiful
landscapes and magnificent wildlife.
You can always feel free to call me or e-mail me if you are having a
photo-related problem, or a question about equipment, and I will help if I can. Regards
BRP

This image was
shot on my Winery half-day Workshop in Paso Robles last July. The Koi fish
made an interesting composition as they dodged under the lily pads in small
schools, mostly staying away from the larger fish - like the one shown here in
the foreground.
I used a polarizing filter, but as I had to pan to the
right and then to the left to follow the fish, it didn't leave me time to tweak
it perfectly. Most of the reflections are gone here, but I can still see some - so I didn't have the
perfect angle. I shot this image from my knees, with a Bogen tripod, at the edge of the pool
with a 12-24mm lens and a Nikon D2x body.
We had a good group of 8 photographers for the workshop and shot at four
different wineries, including in the Eberle Winery Caves. The two Paso
Robles workshops coming up this year will each be different - the first in
August focusing on the wineries, the second in October focusing on the
vineyards.
