No matter how many times you photograph Death Valley it's never the same.  The light changes the colors, the ripples in the sand dunes are different, and the weather can coat the surrounding mountains in snow.

We travel throughout the region photographing not only many of the well known scenic areas, like Mesquite Dunes, Bad Water, the Devil's Cornfield, and Zabriskie Point, but travel to some of the lesser known sites like the Racetrack, the Charcoal Kilns, and the Skidoo Mining ruins to capture images that tell the story of Death Valley.

By late March our chances of catching the brief wildflower bloom has increased, and though temperatures can be cool in the mornings, the days are comfortable.

Reservations

We meet Beatty, Nevada on the evening of Friday, March 23rd, 2012.  There are comfortable hotels and decent restaurants and the town is convenient to the park.  It is a speed trap town though, so beware.
