I created these videos so folks would have a simple, straight-forward presentation on learning the basics of image processing in Photoshop.  I don't sell software, nor am I paid by any company to present a certain viewpoint.  Adobe Elements (current version 9) is a great program for many photographers who aren't worried about taking their processing to the highest levels.  Eventually, I will have a set of Elements videos here as well.  Photoshop is the program that is the industry standard when it comes to professional image processing - that's why I use it and that's why I created these videos.  They are in the MP4 format to keep them as small as possible, though the download time will be a factor of your internet speed.

Each video builds on the one before it.  They are meant to help those new to photoshop.  Every trick and option is not explained in the videos - rather, the important tools and their applications to get you processing your photos in a quick, organized, and functional way are explained.  I've tried to keep the videos short and to the point.  I explain the way I process images (both RAW and JPG) and why I include the steps I do.

This is my workflow.  I would expect those starting out to use these videos to build up their own skill levels - then create a workflow that works for them.  Every professional photographer swears by their methods to process images - I don't.  I'm learning new techniques and tricks through trial and error, through magazines and manuals, and through some of the workshops I have attended.

New videos will be added as I create them.
